When we install a custom car audio system with aftermarket amplifiers, speakers, and subwoofers we want to also install sound treatment (aka sound "deadening") materials. These materials reduce the ambient noise level of the vehicle allowing us to hear more detail from the speakers in the music, and also reduces rattles and vibrations.
